The sulphates
from the reaction of ethoxilated alcohols or of fatty alcohols
with SO3
have to be neutralised quickly.
The neutralisation
takes place continuously in a closed loop where active matter
and the neutralising agent (caustic soda, trietanol amina, or
others) are fed by a special metering pump and are recycled through
a homogenising mill.
A heat exchanger
removes the neutralisation heat and a pH-controller ensures the
correct pH of the final product through andjustment on the caustic
soda metering pump.
