ALPHA OLEFIN HYDROLYSIS (SO-6)
The neutralized
alpha olefins sulphonic acid is transferred to the Hydrolysis
Unit where the sultones are convert to sulfonates.
The acid is
heated and fed to the hydrolyzer operating at the pressure corresponding
to the hydrolysis temperature.
After hydrolysis the product is cooled and then stoared.
