COOLING UNIT

The purpose of this unit is to reduce the temperature of the cooling water when it circulates in a closed circuit through the plant.

A closed circuit of chilling water for plant cooling is necessary when for local reasons water must be saved, or its temperature is too high.

This unit operates under vacuum to facilitate the evaporation of some water of the cooling circuit. The partial evaporation of water removes the latent heat from the mass still liquid.

This evaporative cooling system can be replaced by a water chilling unit.
