POWDER SEPARATION UNIT
The vapour flow
coming from the vacuum cooling and drying chamber always carries
some soap particles which must be removed to prevent both blockage
of vacuum system and pollution.
This is obtained
by using the centrifugal force to which the solid particles are
subjected in the cyclones.
Here the stream
coming from the vacuum chamber flows tangentially at high speed
into a cylindrical shell so generating the centrifugal force
which throws the solid particles against the chamber walls.
The powder falls down and is collected at the bottom of the shell.
