Laundry soap is sold in different shapes and imprinted in different ways, depending on local condition and on the cost.

The simplest way is to imprint the soap on one or two sides just by the trade name. In countries that were used to the shape typical of Marseille Soap, the soap is imprinted on six sides. In additions there are regions, like Central America, where the soap is sold in "Bolas" (balls), or like East Africa where the soap is sold in bars 40 cm long.
